Meet Janet Powers

Helping people has always been Janet's passion, and it’s what she loves. To Janet, assisting clients in buying and selling a home is a great way to help them make their real estate dreams come true, but she hasn’t always been a “helper” in this capacity.

In fact, before becoming an agent, Janet enjoyed a 20-year career in the medical field. In this role, she helped patients prepare to undergo orthopedic surgery. For many patients, these were stressful, scary moments, and Janet was glad to provide comfort and support before their procedures.

In many ways, this crucial work helped prepare Janet for her career as a REALTOR^®. Although no longer preparing patients for surgery, she now counsels clients on home buying and selling, aiding them as they make some of their most important financial decisions.

When her husband retired from the police force several years ago, she saw it as a perfect opportunity to start a new chapter and use her skills as a compassionate customer service provider in another capacity.
